The structure of p-nitrophenylhydrazones of aldehydes: the case of the p-nitro-phenylhydrazone of 2-diethylamino-5-methoxy-2H-indazole-3-carboxaldehyde

The ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectroscopic study of four p-nitrophenylhydrazones of aldehydes is reported. The data have been analysed using theoretically calculated absolute shieldings (GIAO/DFT). Tautomerism, isomerism and signal anisochrony are described.
